Ruth Green BA (Hons) and Di Ralston BA (Hons) both graduated from St Martin’s School of Art and have worked in advertising and teaching. They formed The Painted Pigs Company in 2008 with Sculptor and TV Set Designer Jonathan Green BA (Hons), sculpting the first Classic Pig.
Ruth and Di were commissioned to paint several projects for The Elephant Family, Cowparade, and Wild In Art, which were displayed around the UK. They also painted various projects in the UK, the EU, and the USA.
All their sculptures are made from Fibreglass or resin. Ruth and Di paint them with high-quality acrylic paints and hand-varnish them with several coats of UV-resistant clear gloss varnish.
The larger sculptures are suitable for outdoor use, but we advise that they be either completely covered or brought indoors over the Winter months.
